Romans chapter 12

Rules for Christian Living

  • Offer your bodies as living sacrifices to God, which is a sensible way to serve Him.
  • Transform your thinking to understand what is good and pleasing to God.
  • Each person has a unique role in the body of Christ, emphasizing unity and interdependence.
  • Different gifts are given by God, including prophecy, service, teaching, encouragement, generosity, leadership, and kindness.
  • Love should be sincere, and individuals should honor others above themselves.
  • Maintain hope, patience, and prayerfulness, especially in times of trouble.
  • Share in the joys and sorrows of others, fostering friendship and humility.
  • Strive for peace and respect in relationships with everyone.

Romans 8:26

Too Tired to Pray

When you’re too tired to pray

. . . the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.

27And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.

28And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

29For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

30And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

Amen

Walk With me O Lord

Proselytise of Jah

Hear me O Jehovah, as I stand on dust and look to water

No scribe, no book, no stone, no pen did create you

So, speak to me, Heavenly Lord, as you did to those of old

My ear is inclined, and I await your communion

Not by paper, but by lips

To you, do I open my mind and spirit

Reveal your truth, and teach me your will

If I am a Temple, then in me do dwell

A person you are, not an idea

A being you be, not a story

An individual, not a book

A God of love, not a religion
